Thirteen parties of three or more, and one of eight

Of the 760 public reviews behind this guide, thirteen describe three or more people being done together, at thirteen of the 159 salons. The biggest is a group of eight at Lani Spa, 106 Đỗ Bá, 3,279 reviews, in May 2026: eight people, each with a different service, and the reviewer's own technician still took her time over a design copied from a phone. Then a four at MOON NAILS, 48 Đặng Vũ Hỷ, 279 reviews, in April · two manicures, two pedicures. Three at Posh Nail Lab, 2 An Thượng 32, 897 reviews, in July, needing two hand sets and three pedicures. Three at Lalla on An Thượng 29, 1,101 reviews, in June, booked as three separate appointments for the same afternoon: acrylic with art and a pedicure for the mother, floral builder gel for the daughter, a heel-care pedicure for the father. Three walk-ins at Liti on Yên Bái, 362 reviews, fitted in for an evening in April with no booking at all.

The rest are looser about numbers but not about the fact. A reviewer and her friends at CIAO NAIL STUDIO 2 on Nguyễn Thông, 133 reviews, in July. A man and his guy friends at EIRA NAILS on Hùng Vương, 86 reviews, the same month. A family with children at R Nail & Spa 3 on Võ Nguyên Giáp in June, a whole family at 88 Spa & Nail on Nguyễn Văn Thoại in May, a mother and her daughters at lol's 1 nail on Nguyễn Văn Thoại in December, a multi-generation party at Lee Nails on Tô Hiến Thành in March, a party back from a day of tours steered down an alley off Trần Phú to Jeju Spa in July, where everybody had a foot massage and some had their nails done, and a group at La spa on An Thượng 3 whose reviewer wrote only that all of them were happy. All thirteen are five stars. Nobody was refused, split up against their will, or asked to come back tomorrow.

Fourteen more reviews are pairs · a mother, a sister, a friend, a husband who got a pedicure while he waited · and they are five stars too, bar one four-star for a five-hour set that this piece comes back to. So the answer to the plain question is yes, and it is the same yes at a 3,279-review spa and a 45-review room. What the reviews are much better at explaining is where a group stops being easy, and it is not where a visitor would guess.

The timing matters this month. VietnamPlus reported on 17 September that the city had received nearly 200 MICE groups by mid-September · more than 60,000 visitors, 35,400 of them international · against a 2026 target of 93,000, and its welcome-gift programme for Korean visitors runs from the 23rd to the 26th around Chuseok, pitched at couples and multi-generational families. The Australian school holidays began last weekend. An incentive group with a free afternoon, a Korean family of six and a hen party from Melbourne are all, from a salon's point of view, the same problem: more people than chairs.

The roster stretches. The room does not.

Read the Posh Nail Lab review again. Three people, two sets and three pedicures, and the technician called in extra people. That is not a figure of speech. Posh Nail Lab and Posh Nails and Spa, 6 An Thượng 9, publish the same phone number and sit 361 metres apart, and a Da Nang nail room is staffed the way a family restaurant is: when the tables fill, someone rings a sister, a cousin, the girl who left last month. Eleven of the 159 salons here have reviews describing four hands on one customer, and that flexibility runs the other way too. Labour is the thing this city has in reserve.

Now read the one review in the set that goes wrong. Liti Nail & Hair 2, 29 An Thượng 37, 1,261 reviews, two stars, March 2026. The customer booked on WhatsApp, was quoted 600,000đ by text and charged 750,000đ because removal was not in the quote, and arrived to find every technician busy and no spot free. Other technicians then arrived and did her manicure kneeling on the floor. The manicure, she says, was beautiful. The two stars are for the floor.

Put the two reviews side by side and the rule falls out. The roster stretches. The room does not. A salon can produce a technician in twenty minutes; it cannot produce a chair, a lamp and a foot basin, and nobody in a Vietnamese shop is going to tell a group to go away while there is a floor to kneel on. So the question that gets you a good afternoon is not do you take groups, to which every room in this guide answers yes, but how many can you do at the same time. In Vietnamese: mấy người làm cùng lúc được? The number that comes back is the number of seats, and it is the only number that matters.

The corollary is that the best rooms for one person are the worst for six. MIRA B Nails on Tô Hiến Thành, 68 reviews, is run by an owner who does every set herself and takes no walk-ins. Mei.nail on Võ Nguyên Giáp, 25 reviews, takes one client at a time by design. Both are exactly the kind of room this guide keeps sending single readers to, and a party of four would be there until midnight.

Feet together, hands apart

Here is the opinion, and it is what turns a group booking from a queue into an afternoon. Book the pedicures as one event and the hands as separate jobs.

A pedicure is the same length for everyone. The express ritual is about forty minutes at ≈250K, the relaxing about fifty-five at 380K, the signature seventy-five at 590K, and the tiers are timed, so six people who order the same tier finish within minutes of each other. The chairs are in a row, the basins are side by side, and the thing a group actually wants from a salon · to sit together and talk · is what a pedicure row is built for. It is also the treatment whose failure costs least: gel on toes is 180K and a chipped toe is not a ruined week.

A hand set is the opposite. At Posh Nails and Spa on An Thượng 9 a complicated design took two and a half hours in July. At Hehe Nail Room, 182b Phan Châu Trinh, two friends arrived at 12:30 for removal and new extensions and left at 5:30. At CIAO on Mai Thúc Lân a manicure and pedicure with full designs, two technicians, went in at 11:30 and was out by one. Those are three honest clocks running at three different speeds, and a party of six with six phones full of inspiration photos is six of them. Whoever wanted a plain gel colour is done in ninety minutes and sits watching the person with the chrome French for the next two hours.

So split it. Pedicures for the whole party, one room, one block, first thing. Then hands only for the people who care about hands · in this guide's experience of reading 760 reviews, never the whole party · booked as individual slots, plain colours first, art last. The ones not doing hands take the foot massage or the hair wash, which is how the Lee Nails family spent its afternoon, or leave for lunch. If you are more than four, use two doors: Pink Nail Studio and Jini are 35 metres apart on Trần Phú, Posh Nail Lab and Lalla are 138 metres apart on An Thượng, Lani and Posh 231. Two rooms three minutes apart is a group booking. One room with people on the floor is not.

Where eight can sit down

Seventeen of the 159 salons in this guide have an An Thượng address, which makes the grid between Võ Nguyên Giáp and Ngũ Hành Sơn the densest nail district in the city and the obvious place to split a party. Lani on Đỗ Bá is the room with the eight-person review: Google types it a spa, the sign lists ten trades, it is open until 10:30 at night and 11 on Saturdays. The last piece in this journal found that every gel failure in the dataset came from a sign with a second trade on it, and Lani is the honest exception to note: the eight-person review is five stars and its technician was slow in the good way. The safe use of a spa-scale room for a group is still the feet. Send the hands to Posh Nail Lab, 231 metres away, Lalla, 271, or NAIL SWEET on An Thượng 3, 375 reviews, 435 · three signs that say nails and nothing else.

Across the river, Trần Phú is the other cluster. Pink Nail Studio at 167, 2,058 reviews, has a February review from a walk-in seated at once and a July one calling it a big team that gets you in and out, which is precisely the compliment a group wants and a single customer does not. Jini at 179, 832 reviews, next door, has the cautionary one: an 8pm booking sent upstairs and left twenty minutes with nobody to serve them, one star. Alina at 102 Trần Phú, 320 reviews, was empty in May when Suzy across the road said wait, and a mother and daughter were done there without a queue. And Liti on Yên Bái, 317 metres from Pink, took three walk-ins for an evening. Four rooms, one square, walkable in a shower.

On the beach side, MOON NAILS on Đặng Vũ Hỷ took its party of four and opens at eight, which only 40 of the 145 salons publishing hours do · useful, because a group that wants the beach afterwards needs the early chair. Lee Nails on Tô Hiến Thành, 435 reviews, is 367 metres away and did a whole family's hair washes, hands, feet and cat-eye in one visit. S.O.Cnail on Nguyễn Hoàng, 578 reviews, is the one to file under busy but careful: a July customer paid 389,000đ for her manicure and 115,000đ for her pedicure and says the room was full and the work was not rushed.

The bill for six

The arithmetic is the price tables times the headcount, and it is worth doing at the hotel rather than at the desk. A single-colour gel is about 200K, classic polish about 100K, the express pedicure about 250K and gel on toes 180K. Six gel colours and six express pedicures is 2.7 million đồng. Vietnam's largest banknote is 500K, so that is five notes and change, and the 45 reviews in this guide that quote a bill run to a median of 360,000đ for one person, with card fees recorded at 3%, 8% and 20%. Bring cash. For eight people, bring more cash than feels reasonable.

A real two-person bill for calibration: at Amou on Nguyễn Chí Thanh in June a mother and daughter paid, by the reviewer's own itemisation, 390K and 290K for nail art, 290K each for a French pedicure and 60K each for the foot spa, about 1.35 million for the pair. Nobody was quoted anything exorbitant, she says, and the shop wrote it all down. That is the standard: per-person totals, on the calculator, before the first coat. Say tính riêng từng người · charge each person separately · and the Liti 2 problem, where the removal arrives on the bill after the fact, gets caught six times over instead of once. Removal is 60 to 90K a head, and in a group of six there are usually two or three heads wearing old gel.

Tipping is not a group problem here because it is barely a problem at all. Four reviews out of 530 mention it. If a technician has spent three hours on your friend's chrome French, a note handed to her directly is the whole gesture. Nobody is pooling anything.

The message, the morning, and the car

Message, never call, and put the whole party in one message, the night before. Something like: Nhóm 6 người, 6 sơn gel, 6 pedicure, 9 giờ sáng thứ Bảy · mấy người làm cùng lúc được? Group of six, six gel colours, six pedicures, nine on Saturday morning · how many at the same time? Then each person's design photo in the same thread, labelled. If the answer to the last question is three, you have your two doors.

Nine o'clock is not a suggestion. 133 of the 145 salons publishing hours open by nine, none of them close for lunch, and every complaint about being kept waiting in these 760 reviews names an evening slot: Jini's 8pm on Trần Phú, the technicians on the floor at Liti 2. A party of six at nine has the room to itself and is on the beach by one. A party of six at seven in the evening is the reason somebody's cousin is being phoned.

Then the car. A Grab car seats four, so eight people is two bookings, and Amou's reviewer notes that the app sometimes drops the pin in the wrong place · check the street number against the sign before you pay the driver. Better, use the pickup, which is more common than visitors expect. SuNam on Phan Bôi, 621 reviews, arranged complimentary hotel pickup and drop-off over WhatsApp in March and is described doing it again in June. 88 Spa & Nail, 162 Nguyễn Văn Thoại, 1,870 reviews, offers a free pickup. Tourane Spa & Nails on Hùng Vương, 1,927 reviews, ran a free shuttle as far as Hội An in a 2022 review. And Jini, whatever happened at 8pm, put a reviewer's elderly relatives in a Grab back to their hotel and made sure they arrived. Ask in the booking message; a room that will fetch four people from a resort on the beach road has just told you it can seat four.

The last option is to stay in. Miko Home Nails Service, 62 reviews, has five five-star reviews between December 2025 and April 2026 from hotel rooms and an Airbnb, each describing one technician arriving with her kit, and one of them timing removal, art and a gel pedicure at two hours. For one person in a villa that is the most comfortable chair in the city. For six, it is a twelve-hour rota unless she brings colleagues, and that is the question to send before you book the pool deck. The ninety-second hygiene check applies at home as much as in a shop: the tools should come out of sealed pouches on your kitchen table exactly as they would on the counter at Lalla.
